Kindergarten: A pivotal year in a child's education
Kindergarten is a year of exploration, hands-on learning, and building strong early literacy and math foundations. In Kindergarten, students will recognize letters and sounds, begin to write simple words and sentences, count and understand basic numbers. Students will grow socially and emotionally as they learn to communicate, collaborate, and show empathy while engaging in hands-on activities that encourage curiosity and creativity. Additionally, they’ll start building important habits for learning, like listening, following directions, and working independently.
